When you own your own mind, you can achieve anything that you can imagine yourself achieving.
..............................
If you're like most people, you've sometimes seen your current challenges and failures in life as proof that you have no control over anything. Your circumstances provide the evidence that teaches you how to think. Thinking is what your mind does, so your circumstances create your mind. Right?
Nope. It's the other way around.
Have you ever noticed how "experts" can't talk about consciousness or addiction or free will or love, without talking about the brain?
The mind and the brain aren't even remotely the same thing. The brain is a physical (and somewhat gruesome) object. Choice, meaning, and connection are nonphysical. They're experiences that take place in the mind, and in the mind alone.
Any nonphysical idea is only translated into physical reality because of action. Action is coordinated by our brains, which respond literally and faithfully to whatever happens in our powerful subconscious minds.
Action is initiated by our subconscious minds. And our subconscious minds take all their directions from our conscious thoughts.
All the physical results you experience in your life - your emotions, the quirks of your body, the kinds of problems you're having in relationships, even your physical surroundings - are the result of non-physical ideas you experienced in your conscious mind. If your conscious mind is shut off because you're in a coma or you're sleeping, your body goes on autopilot. You create nothing.
Yet the experts only talk about your brain.
We live in a mechanistic culture that functions from a shared certainty that the Universe is a clockwork and everything has a direct, linear cause. If you want to know the future, look at the present and the past and draw a straight line between them and extrapolate.
Our experts - medical, religious, and academic - are ignorant about both what consciousness is and how our minds create our reality. Their ignorance is permanently reinforced by a powerful cultural belief that the nature of the mind is unknowable. Only physical things (like brain cells and synaptic chemicals) are knowable.
If you believe that your mind doesn't work right, you'll have mental problems in abundance. If you believe your mind is something nobody can understand, you'll never be able to understand your mind. If you believe that nothing in your life can ever change, your mind will instantly set up a thermostat to keep things precisely in the range that you call "normal." If you believe you're sick and incurable, you'll never be healthy.
But when you learn how to own your mind, your physical and emotional illnesses will evaporate.
That's how I got started with MindTreeHealth in the first place. I'm healthy as a horse now, I teach Nia (dance fitness), I'm physically stronger than almost anyone I know (male or female), and I look younger than I did twenty years ago. But once upon a time I suffered from allergies, hypoglycemia, fibromyalgia, constant shortness of breath, chronic bronchitis and sinus infections, and debilitating panic attacks. Then I learned about German New Medicine and the five natural laws of healing.
What I learned was that every, single physical or emotional symptom has a mental cause. When we encounter situations in life that conflict with our deeply-held subconscious beliefs, our brains and bodies go into an emergency response. In fact, every part of our body is designed to respond to some kind of conflict in our lives. Our symptoms are an exact map of what has recently been happening in our minds.
As soon as I learned how these connections work, my symptoms began to dissolve one after another. As soon as I began to achieve physical results because of the thoughts I consciously chose to think, I had proof that the mind causes the physical results and not the other way around. The evidence just keeps mounting, and that's why I know that anything I can imagine myself achieving, I can achieve.
And so can you. Healing, happiness, heightened energy, and rapid progress toward your goals can replace stuckness in your life.
No matter how long you've been stuck with your physical or emotional problem.
If you believe that you're controlled by others and by circumstances, that's what's always going to happen to you. I know from direct personal experience.
I used to believe that everything wrong in my world was my fault because I wasn't a good enough person. The result was mounting physical evidence that I was, indeed, not a good enough person. The first decade of my adult life deteriorated in misery as one door of opportunity after another slammed in my face. I was laid off, fired, dumped, cheated, ripped off, attacked, duped, and defrauded until there was nowhere else I could go. No matter what action I took, my life got worse. I was ill, crazy, had no real friends, and decided my next step was to figure out how to have a nervous breakdown.
Then one day, while I was reading a self-help book, I changed my mind. I decided that I was a good enough person. I started honouring my gifts ...the greatest of which is a highly analytical mind that loves to figure things out and has no practical limit. And my physical life changed dramatically. (Probably because most of the people who shared my former belief that I wasn't good enough ...got out of my life)
For generations, the experts have been teaching us to "live in the real world:" look at your current situation and all the patterns of the past to decide what is or (more likely) isn't possible in your life. They teach that the way to have a better mind, is to focus on your physical self and surroundings. With a lot of hard work and good luck, this will make you change our actions which will then change your feelings which might, in time, change the way your mind works.
The experts are right that it's a one-way process. They've just got it completely backwards.
Your conscious thoughts allow or disallow subconscious beliefs and your subconscious beliefs govern your biological responses which dictate your physical actions which lead to the results around you. What you think consciously becomes manifest in your reality.
Most of us - experts especially - are just really out of practice with thinking consciously.
I created MindTreeHealth to help people break the vicious circles they get into by thinking backwards about how to get the results they want. When your life never changes no matter how hard or how long you work at your particular problem, the sudden improvements that you'll witness by learning how to use your mind correctly will seem almost miraculous. But all that you really do when you break out of a chronic pattern with your habits, your body, your job or your relationships is you break the negative feedback loop that traps you when you look at what you've got as proof of what is possible for you.
The benefit to you for learning to think consciously - learning how to truly imagine a better outcome for yourself - is that you will achieve consistent and permanent happiness.
And you'll lose your fear that nothing will ever change.
When your physical results (your circumstances in life) guide the choices you make and dictate your belief about reality, you're at the mercy of others. You're controlled by circumstances, reacting, responding, or, at best, managing. But you're not creating and directing your own experience. You're playing energy games. And you're losing.
Your mind is your faithful servant. It makes you see evidence of anything you choose to believe about yourself, others, or life. Your mind creates the evidence. Your mind creates your reality.
But human beings are powerfully influenced by relating to others (human or otherwise). In fact, our minds are made out of decisions to relate to others.
So what should you do when others manipulate your mind, tell you what to think, tell you what to believe? It's not a complicated answer. When others tell you what to think, accept the idea if it helps you imagine a better life for yourself, and reject the idea if it doesn't. In other words, when people tell you things that don't fit your chosen vision of how you want your life to be, reject their words as lies. You don't have to reject everything they say. Just reject anything anyone says that makes you question your dreams.
I'm here to help you do this. MindTreeHealth was created to show you how your past experiences have shaped your current state of mind, and how your recent state of mind creates the life that you have. Changing your mind comes naturally when you see how the way you have been thinking has created the results you've been getting.
Own your mind. As soon as you do, you'll find yourself creating and directing your own life not only to your own selfish benefit, but to let others be happy too ...since you'll no longer be screwing with their minds.
You'll be too busy living your dreams.
